1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ThisSimple ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including free and Pro subscribers.
2. Description of Service
ThisSimple is an AI-powered text rewriting tool that simplifies complex language and humanizes AI-generated content. The Service is provided "as is" and may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- ✗ Submit content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory
- ✗ Attempt to circumvent rate limits or daily usage caps through automated scripts or bots
- ✗ Reverse engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the Service
- ✗ Use the Service to generate spam, phishing content, or misleading material
- ✗ Share your account credentials with others
- ✗ Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without notice.
4. Free Tier Limits
Free users are limited to 5 rewrites per day and 2,000 characters of input text per rewrite. These limits exist to prevent abuse and keep the free tier sustainable. Attempting to circumvent these limits (e.g., through multiple accounts, automated requests, or VPN rotation) is a violation of these Terms and may result in account suspension.
5. Pro Subscription
Billing: Pro subscriptions are billed monthly at $9/month. Billing begins immediately upon upgrade.
Cancellation: You may cancel at any time from the Billing page. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.
Refunds: We offer refunds within 7 days of initial purchase if you have not used more than 10 Pro rewrites. Contact us at billing@thissimple.app to request a refund.
Price changes: We will notify you at least 30 days before any price increase. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
6. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of the text you submit. The rewritten output generated by the Service is yours to use freely. We do not claim ownership over your content or the AI-generated rewrites. The ThisSimple brand, interface, and underlying code are our intellectual property.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that rewrites will be error-free, accurate, or suitable for any particular purpose. AI-generated content should always be reviewed before use in professional, legal, or medical contexts.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThisSimple shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
